Recording & Voicemail
Record
RingCentral supports two types of call recording: on-demand and automatic call recording. For on-demand call recording, while on a call, press the keys *9 to start and *9 to end.
Voicemail
A red Message Waiting Indicator light notifies you when you have a new voicemail. Lift the handset or press the Speaker button. Press “Voicemail Message” or “Voicemail”. After the prompt, enter the PIN or press *86 on the dialpad after the prompt, then enter the PIN.
Calls
Conference
While on a call, press Conf, then dial the second number. Wait until another person picks up, then press Conf again.
Hold
While on a call, press the Hold key on the phone or press the number keys on the dialpad # # to place on hold and # to end hold.
Transfer
While on a call, press > Transfer > dial the second number or extension and wait for a response.
Press the number keys on the dialpad, enter # #, then dial the extension, followed by # # * and then dial the number.
Park
While on a call, press Park and note the park location (* 8–) or press the number keys on the dialpad # # * 3 and note the park location (* 8, then follow the prompts).
Dial
Lift the handset or press the Speaker button and dial the number.
Flip
When you are on a call, press * then Flip and enter the number to which it is assigned.
