Preschool Registration
The Head Start Program delivers a comprehensive range of early childhood services designed to support the development and well-being of young children. This program serves children beginning as early as 6 weeks of age and continues through 4 years old. Families interested in enrolling their children in the Head Start Program must meet specific income and/or categorical eligibility criteria. In addition to these requirements, families must also fulfill all additional standards set forth by the National Head Start Program. For questions regarding eligibility or the pre-registration process, please contact the DMLCC receptionist at 623-474-7260 or Head Start Director Ms. Elizabeth Camu at 623-474-7263.
The Developmental Preschool offers specialized services in a half-day setting for preschool-aged children who have been identified as having special education needs. This program is designed to provide early intervention and support to help each child reach their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment. Families seeking information about developmental preschool registration or the Child Find process are encouraged to contact the DMLCC receptionist at 623-474-7260 or reach out to the Exceptional Student Services Department at 623-474-7276 for further details and assistance.
