Food Services

The school food service program is an essential part of the complete educational program. Based on the belief that a well-nourished student is better prepared to receive the instruction of the school day, the Food and Nutrition Department plays a necessary role in each school’s educational team. Our goal is to help children develop healthy, lifelong habits necessary to promote health and learning.

Food Shortage Information

The Fowler Elementary School District Food Service Department prepares a variety of nutritious, appealing, and balanced meals for breakfast and lunch. As we strive to return to a more normal routine, we are facing unexpected issues with our supply chain, resulting in food shortages and last-minute menu substitutions. Our goal is to serve the posted menu each day, but current circumstances are making this a challenge. We are working closely with our food distributors and vendors during this unprecedented time. We will do our best to communicate any last-minute food substitutions and continue to find similar products to use as acceptable menu replacements. Please remember the menu is subject to change. Thank you.
