Maryvale Baseball Park
Get in on the spring training action at the Maryvale Baseball Park, the home for the Brewers. This state-of-the-art complex offers accessible, ample parking. Every seat is a great seat in this fan-friendly, relaxed setting.
At dusk, the bats come out along the Maricopa County Flood Control ditch near the Arizona Biltmore. Access the cave by parking near 40th Street and Camelback, then walk along the north side of the Arizona Canal for about half a mile. The cave entrance is behind Phoenix Country Day School, north of the canal. The best time of year to see the bats is during the months of July and August.
Cerreta Candy Company
Take a guided tour of this family-owned candy factory, and watch the creation of decadent candies. Cerreta offers tours Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call ahead for estimated tour group sizes.
Arizona Science Center
Explore the world we live in at the Arizona Science Center located in downtown Phoenix. Be sure to check out the bed of nails or take a ride on the SkyCycle. Watch one of the many daily demonstrations, visit the planetarium, or experience an IMAX movie.
Challenger Space Center
